The Brera Touring Cup 2022 Route

The 2022 route promises to be one of the most refined and exclusive ever. After France we have chosen Switzerland as the stage for the 5th Edition.  

Alpine landscapes among the most fascinating, viability guaranteed by perfectly maintained roads, typically Swiss order and discipline will characterize the Event.

Important times Thursday 23 :  

15:00 - 19:00 - Accreditations (do not miss, we will not register after this time, except in cases of necessity
15:00 - 19:00 - Take advantage of the afternoon to wash the car ( Google Maps ) and apply the stickers

19:00 - 20:00 - Briefing (don't miss it, don't be late)

20:00 - 22:00 - Dinner at Movenpick Hotel  

22:00 - 00:00 - For those who want a little fun at the Casino du Lac or a little fitness at the "Sky Gym" fitness center

Day 1 - Stage 1 - Friday 24 June  

The departure is scheduled from Geneva , one of the most eclectic, multi-ethnic and lively cities in Switzerland. For those who arrive on Thursday it will be an unforgettable experience to take advantage of a night in this city full of restaurants, pubs and nightlife on the shores of Lake Lèman.

The overnight stay on Friday is planned in Zermatt , in the canton of Valais in southern Switzerland. Zermatt is a mountain resort renowned for skiing, climbing and hiking. The city, at an altitude of around 1,600m, sits beneath the iconic pyramid-shaped peak of the Matterhorn. Its main street, Bahnhofstrasse is lined with boutiques, hotels and restaurants. It can be reached by leaving the cars in the reserved area by means of a train that covers the 4 km closed to traffic in about 12 minutes.

Important times Friday 24 :  

1.00 pm - Buffet Lunch in Chamonix, Les Planard Restaurant  

5.30 pm - Arrival in Täsch and parking in the covered parking lot  Ante-Portas

18:00 - Departure from Täsch to Zermatt with the characteristic train or taxi service based on weather conditions

6:15 pm - Arrival in Zermatt and check in the hotels

Day 2 - Stage 1 - Saturday 25 June  


On Saturday morning we will leave Zermatt to cross the Swiss Alps from west to east to the famous Engadine. The lunch stop in Chur, considered the oldest Swiss agglomeration, is often referred to as "The oldest city in Switzerland". Lying in the upper valley of the  Reno  and at the confluence of important pass roads with the south of the  Alps , Chur has been inhabited since the third millennium BC

08:10 - 08:30 - Departure from Zermatt to Täsch by Train or Taxi service based on weather conditions

09:00 - Departure from  covered parking  Ante-Portas

13:00 - 15:00 - Buffet lunch a  Chur at Mercure Chur City West 4 stars


Day 2 - Stage 2 - Saturday 25 June  

The second day's route will end in St. Moritz , the famous and luxurious alpine resort in the Swiss Engadine valley. It has twice hosted the Winter Olympics, has the Cresta Run, a world championship bobsleigh track in natural ice and an Olympic outdoor skating rink. Its frozen lake in winter is home to polo, cricket and even ice horse racing. Ski and snowboard areas include Corviglia, Diavolezza, and Corvatsch, and there are well-groomed cross-country ski trails.

Day 3 - Stage 1 - Sunday 26 June  

On the third day we will leave the Engadine and Switzerland to cross the border with Italy, towards the Stelvio Pass , the famous mountain pass which, with an altitude of 2,757 m above sea level, is the most paved mountain pass. high in the Eastern Alps and the second highest in the Alps, 7 m below the Col de l'Iseran in France, covered in the 2021 edition.

The descent from the Stelvio will lead to the conclusion of the event in Bolzano , a city in the province of Alto Adige, in northern Italy, located in a valley among hilly vineyards. It is a gateway to the Dolomites mountain range in the Italian Alps. In the medieval city center, the South Tyrol Museum of Archeology presents the Neolithic mummy called Ötzi the Iceman. Nearby is the impressive 13th-century Castello di Mareccio and the Cathedral of Bolzano with its Romanesque and Gothic architecture.
